Everything I do and create is done to bring glory to the Lord. Without Him, it has no meaning. My art is a reflection of His creativeness and I want every aspect of my life to be a true representation of His love - including photography!
As a young girl I would romanticize everything: forming wedding cakes from mud and buds in the yard, crafting headdresses of feathers and beads to convince the neighbors I was a distant relative of Pocahontas.
I wanted to create constantly -
be it mud pies, pen and paper, hours at my baby grand piano or an inviting and authentic home to facilitate laughter and freedom.
Creating is part of who I am and a primary way I engage with the world. My heart skips a beat when I think about partnering with others in narrating stories in a way that is emotive and artful. One of the most creative and stunning things I know I will ever witness is the world all around us. Especially after living on the coast and getting a first hand glimpse into the vastness of the ocean - most of which we have never laid eyes on - I will always be challenged and changed by the way God has touched every detail of the earth. It's our favorite place to be and the space in which my art catches flight.
My husband, Harrison, is my anchor and best friend. I wouldn't be where I am at today with out his constant support. My photography journey began with his camera and the freedom to create something beautiful with it.
We received the treasure of our lives in 2024 when our son Jude was born.
Since the beginning of our marriage, loving on couples and facilitating a space of warmth and freedom for people has been our way to serve others and share the joy of Jesus.
My creativity and passion in documenting authentic stories is best articulated through my love for the outdoors and unique locations. It is a privilege to make art that is a true reflection of you and I approach each session with a one-of-a-kind mentality. I recognize that no story or love is the same and I believe that is one of the most captivating things about photography.
